So, if you can avoid blood pressure medication by losing weight, restricting salt, and relieving stress with exercise, then do it. Blood sugar creeping up on you? Try to avoid the diabetes medicines and eat smarter, lose weight, exercise. Do you see a common trend here? Many of our ills are preventable to a great degree, or treatable (mostly) by following a few simple rules... Eat right and less, exercise more, and stop stressing over everything. You won't live forever but you won't get a 4 hour erection, sudden death from an asthma medication, or feel like you've been run over by an 18 wheeler like with statin drugs. And you wont have to spend half your time going to the lab to get liver function tests either. The time and money you save... go for a walk, to the gym, or buy a salad...without the dressing.
