Sir Paul (McCartney) was a major presence on Saturday Night Live last night. He is lookin' pretty good for a 70 year old guy but based upon his crackling voice, and the drowning out of it intentionally done by the instruments, it may be time to live on your royalties. There was an article in the New York Times about aging rock stars particularly Bob (Zimmerman) Dylan. It described his voice in uncomplimentary terms. The rest of the show was also enjoyable. The skits were funnier than usual. SNL has its ups and downs but is still a major force in entertainment as evidenced by 50% of the still living Beatles appearing on last night's show.
